Hello

After nearly 15 years as a teacher, I decided it was time for a change. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do, but I knew I loved helping people. I’d hoped to find a new path quickly and grow into something more lucrative than teaching—but that didn’t happen right away.

While still teaching, I’d freelanced for an automotive marketing group writing blogs and web content, which I really enjoyed. So when I left teaching in May 2023, I leaned back into that. I kept writing for my personal DIY blog, created helpful content like Zero Waste Products I Love, supported local teachers, and built up my writing portfolio.

As the job market shifted—thanks in part to AI—I realized blog writing roles were becoming less common. By August, I pivoted to learning SEO, something I had dabbled in before. I studied, applied for countless jobs, and even landed an interview with a great company. But after several rounds, they chose someone else.

Four months and hundreds of applications later, I began to panic. I missed the kids, but I knew I couldn’t go back to teaching. Around that time, a friend offered me a chance to work on her spa’s blog and website. I also picked up a few days a week doing nails there, thanks to my nail tech certification. It wasn’t my dream job, but it paid the bills—and I genuinely loved talking to the clients.

One day, after a shift where nothing felt right, I felt this deep, physical pull in my gut. It was overwhelming. Later, I discovered it was my sacral response—a key part of my Human Design—telling me I was off-track.

That moment led me to dive into Human Design, and everything started clicking. I got certified as a Quantum Human Design™ Specialist, learning that I’m here to help others find their purpose. I also completed their Certified Family Coach program, driven by my passion for parenting and helping families grow stronger. These tools have transformed my own family—and now I help others do the same.
